You Can Not Suck in Filipino

“She excelled in all her tests, mommy – English, Numbers, Science. She also excudes independence, and preparedness to a big school.”

But wait there’s more!

“Kaya lang, she ONLY DID FAIR IN FILIPINO. Pasang-awa po. Ano po bang language ang gamit niyo sa bahay?”

Seriously, teacher?! Seriously?!

That was the gradeschool guidance counselor of SPC-P’s remark after Enzo’s interview. Naloka ako talaga. Since I’ve a bragging right, I can brag na first honors ang anak ko, beating 45 students, some are even older than her. Paanong pasang awa lang ang Filipino niya?! Hahaha.

We have to train her with the Filipino language daw kasi inspite of the school’s ‘conyo’ image of the students, they don’t teach History in English. That gives their students two subjects in the native language.

Hindi uubra yung mga rasunan namin ng asawa ko na (1) filipino naman ang gamit sa bahay kaya ayos lang at (2) problema ng mga teachers na turuan ang mga students ng Filipino. Hahaha.

Yun lang naman pala. Madali akong kausap. Tsaka sa mahal ng matrikula, aba, walang puwang ang pasang awa much more bagsak na grado sa bahay! Hahaha!
